Outer Reef Surf School has been training and developing staff at surf schools, wave pools & Wave Gardens world wide for over 15 years and has been training all of the ISA & lifeguard & First responders staff at the Wave Garden at Surf Snowdonia

2016 women's Surf & Stand up paddle boarding weekends Pembrokeshire

Hi Chicas, the 2016 dates for the Surf & Sup (Stand up Paddle boarding) women's adventure weekends in Pembrokeshire, West Wales are released and on the success of last years and on demand this year we are run three weekend specials!

The course is aimed at both the complete novice and surfers who want some surf education and advice on all aspects of the sport such as performance analysis and the development of specific manouvres, (whilst most importantly having fun!).

We would like to thank all the girls who took part in last years workshops and we know you all had as much fun taking part as we did running them.

TEAM BUILDING WITH OUTER REEF SURF SCHOOL PEMBROKESHIRE.

We will take you & your team around Pembrokeshire's amazing coastline & waterways with your team discussing what is really important to them, whilst making a positive relationships between each member of the organisation. You would be surprised where some of the most important business is done.

Outer Reef Surf school can help build those relationships by offering surfing & stand up paddleboarding to your associates in a breathtaking Beautiful environment of mutual achievement.  We take pictures, tour Pembrokeshire's amazing coastline & beaches and have refreshments at the end of our adventure.

Non ISA/SGB courses and qualifications

The recognised qualification for Surf and Stand up paddle boarding

coaching in the UK is the ISA/SGB Surf and Sup Coach Level 1 award which allows you to seek employment at hundreds of surf schools in Britain and in all ISA nations around the world. Any coach wishing to work in the UK or accredit through ISA and Surfing GB should only attend an ISA accredited course. Any coach who is qualified through another qualification (including Academy of Surf Instructors (ASI) and Water Skills Academy (WSA)) that wishes to  support and join Surfing GB as a coach member will be required to complete the ISA Recognised Prior Learning pathway at an approximate cost of £125 (*includes 1 year ISA and SGB coach membership). Outer Reef has been working with The National Trust for the past 15 years.

Come and have a go at Stand up Paddle boarding every Sunday at Outer Reef Surf and Sup Club.

What the sessions cost 

Whether you're new to the sport or like the sound of the warm environment - sessions are £15 per person for around 2 hours ( 10 people maximum per session)

What the sessions include

Our instructors are all fully qualified ISA Coaches and qualified lifeguards who will run you through the stages of learning how to Sup. Safety is a big factor and you will be shown good awareness of your surroundings, whilst at the same time we can guarantee you will have a great time

The stand up paddle board sessions at Stackpole include use of top of the range Star Board Paddle boards and Red paddles as well as Billabong wetsuits.

Where to meet 

We will meet at the National Trust car park in Stackpole at the Outer Reef mini bus.

What to Wear

Come to the sessions as if you were going to go for a swim with suitable bathing costumes & a towel

Can my family come and watch

Yes, there is viewing for non participants.
